Invision has recently added a new Outside Broadcast vehicle to its fleet. Used to produce Wanderers World, the international programme block of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, it is currently equipped to be able to handle coverage using eight cameras. With an eight channel sound mixing desk, graphics package, non linear editing capability and HDV decks as well as the ability to encode into MPEG and live streaming, Invision can handle any broadcast assignment that you may have.
Our OB unit is capable of providing multi camera/audio mixing from various sources and can record or output to an external uplink if required. The heart of the vehicle is a DATAVIDEO SE9000 SDI vision mixer. Capable of up to 8 inputs with SDI graphic overlay. The system is set up for 8 X SDI cameras, 1 DV input and 1 Comp or Y/C input. There is an 8 channel stereo audio mixer and a Black magic SDI graphics board running CG100 PC graphics software. Multi channel monitors are installed along with 3 DVD recorders Final output is recorded via DVCAM, DV or HDV tape. Digi-Beta can be added if required. The vehicle can be powered via 1 x 16amp commando plug, 1 x 13amp plug socket or its own external generator. There is seating for 2 operators at the vision desk and two commentators with monitors at the rear. We can support internet broadcasting via satellite uplink or provide SDI/AV feed to AV Satellite truck.
We also have 5 non-linnear edit suites and a variety of broadcast cameras.
